Ohmigosh a file!! That sounds awesome, check you out with the great ideas! Did you post the wheel on your site and I missed it? And yeah, the dry time totally sucks — I guess if you’ve got a night where you’re sitting at home just watching TV that’d be the one. I started these last night and finished in the morning, it’s a PROCESS.

This looks great. I loved the colors you choose and the effect is awesome! I did a similar thing on my nail art wheel but haven’t tried it on my real nails yet. But I did it differently. I painted my base nail with two coats of a dark chocolate brown color. Then I painted two coats of a light blue color on top of that. I wanted FOREVER for it to dry like over night. The next day I came back with a nail file and I lightly buffed the blue polish with the file in random spots. The brown eventually showed through. It was like a rustic distressed design. I loved it. I need to do it on my nails! I am just scared too because of the dry time.
