For the record, this was *not* meant to look like Trivia Pursuit wedges (besides, those would’ve had the rounded pie sides) — truth of the matter is that nothin’ but nothin’ was in my head last night while dinking around with some of muted-colored craft paints I pulled off the shelf…  I started with a two coat base of China Glaze Elephant Walk; I know I say it every time, but I love love love these sort of greys, so bravo CG on this one.  Then I gave myself half an hour while watching (read: listening) to a tv show after work and started adding little random triangles in acrylic paint, sort of using the same method from the giraffe nails — put one down, then line up another one next to it, leaving a bit of space.  I didn’t want to do a full cover because then I’d have to worry about making sure they were all uniformly sized and spaced, so instead it came out as these randomly cascading and clustered clumps.

PS, had some NUTTY deja-vu today… the kind that sort of stops you in your tracks for a few minutes because it’s just that already-been-here sort of real.  Someone told me once that it means you’re on the right path/where you’re supposed to be in life, and dangit, I’ll take it!
