Jeez how great are foils?! Need a presto nail job and all you have to do is wait for some glue to dry for a hot minute and you’re set, it’s genius. Whipped this one together before some folks came over to visit, it’s a fun pattern called African Jade. The pics are before the topcoat so that the metal didn’t get completely washed out in the sun, so you’re seeing a few imperfections in there that’d otherwise smooth over with some coverup.

Omg…gorgeous!….how do topcoats work over those foils?
It’s actually a lot like stamping — the topcoat helps seal it on the nail and if you’re not careful/delicate you can totally smudge/smear the foil. I try to treat it as a “mostly dry” stamp because it will flake/peel/screw up if you don’t protect it.

It’s really easy Angie! Just pick up some foil — this is from Dollar Nail Art and is called African Jade — then you paint some glue on your nails, wait for it to dry, and rub the backside of the foil onto the glue surface and it transfers to your nail. Genius! If you buy from dollarnailart.com they’ll include a full set of instructions and some glue in a nail polish bottle for easy application.
