Hey L’Oreal:  I’m trying to work with you, I really really am… but this Amazon’s Flare polish left me a little frustrated.  I think the color itself is great — in fact I think I have a handful of Barbie-pink polishes that could be a stand-in for this one — the problem is all in the formula.  One coat was a tint, two coats was a wash, three coats got the pink to the point you see here BUT you could still see right through the tips, and there was no way I was going back for a fourth coat.  So in classic 5 year old style, I got frustrated and put some angry tips in Wet n Wild Ebony Hates Chris on this, just using the long skinny brush to swoop lines up from the tip (like with the smoke weed nails, but a little more narrow and the swipes more densely clustered).  That helped a ton.  Capped it off by using a detail brush to pull some Kleancolor Chunky Holo Purple over the black and promptly put the L’Oreal Amazon’s Flare into the dark corners of my cabinet.  Not impressed.
