Well isn’t that just precious?! Dipped back into the Essie wheelhouse this week (needed a neutral color and this one flopped right in my lap) to go for a three-coat cover of Essie Miss Matched. For a little extra flair — cuz it wouldn’t be me without something a little funky going on — I used a tan acrylic paint to add a giraffe print accent to the ring finger. I usually do this print in the reverse (so that the splotches are my base color and the border becomes the color I add in) but this worked just as easily; you’re basically adding odd splotches of color with your small brush and then leaving enough uniform gapping between them to create the print.

So simple but very pretty. You always knock it out if the park!
Thanks Jessica! I’m really liking the giraffe print lately — it’s one of those designs that looks like it could be complicated but is actually pretty simple once you get into it.
I think you’ve just convinced me I need to gie this a try!
Love this! Really simple but it’s SO adorable!
Just darling, isn’t it?!
OMG! Giraffes are my favorite animals!!! I love it!
This design is so cute! I love it! It’s simple yet so adorable ^.^
Thanks Natalie! Went to the zoo last week and saw some big ol’ live buggers — some of them have really dark coloring, it’s really pretty… I want to try that next!
