Does anybody else have this one?  I was so excited to pick this one up (cheap! sparkly! fun blue!) but oh man was I ever disappointed after popping the bottle open…  This stuff was AWFUL to apply. It has the goopiest, gnarliest consistency to it, it was like trying to spread soft cheese on my nails.  And the more I tried to fix the texture and get into the side of the nails the more it glooped and globbed and became a super problem.  This is one coat.  One super mashed potato layer of gloopy polish.

I really wanted to like Barielle Falling Star but the formula totally blows it for me.  I put a tip of China Glaze Secret Peri-wink-le on thinking it might help hide/fix the bubbling and puckering at the tips at least, but nope, a hot mess any which way you paint it.  The topcoat helped a little, but in the pics you’ll note that I didn’t put any topcoat on the index finger so you can see just how groddy the finish really was on this.  Also totally didn’t bother with cleanup because let’s be real, this came off right after the photos.

Was this just my bottle or an overall problem for Barielle Falling Star?  Maybe it can be fixed by thinning the whole bottle out…
