I have to do something with a sunrise one of these days, but the purple gradient of sunset is soooooo pretty it’s hard to say no. The base is the ever-shimmery dark purple of Color Club Alias; once that dried I went in for a single sponge round of (in order) Kleancolor Pearl Pink, China Glaze Strawberry Fields, Borghese Aurora Sunset and Color Club Psychedelic Scene til the tips were glowing. Then I used the Art Club Black striper to draw in some tall brokedown trees and it felt a little bayou-y. Great, now I’m gonna run around saying bayou-ey-you-ey-you for the rest of the day (yes, I’m really like 6 years old or something).

I love this and hope to try it. I think the only thing i would add to it is dotting a couple of the nails with a glow in the dark polish for fire flys!

Thanks ladies! Give it a shot — this one really isn’t that difficult, I think it’s the number of colors in the sponging that make it look trickier than it is. The trees are silly-easy.
