Know what color I haven’t done in awhile and is perfect for spring? Yellow! For the base of this I started with two coats of China Glaze Lemon Fizz, then sponged in some OPI The “It” Color (because I haven’t sponged for a spell either).
Once that dried I used Kleancolor Black to draw in the shapes of some flowers, then some Kleancolor White to fill in the actual area to help the polish colors of the flowers pop off of the yellow… which was smart, because the purple I pulled isn’t really all that opaque and would’ve turned to brown without a good white base.
Then I used those same yellows, plus a Migi pen in hot orange, to fill the centers of the flowers, Sinful Colors Innocent and a neon green Migi pen for the leaves and stems, then finally Sinful Colors Zeus (the pretty but thin purple) and Sinful Colors Greek Isles for the petals. Lookit that, no acrylic! It’s definitely not as clean as my acrylic work, but we’re just going to call that “country shabby chic” or something like it was intentional (I would totally buy this design if it was on a big serving bowl or something, the colors are super happy together).

Awesome nails! I love it!! Such great detail.
