Tried to do something a little different today…. “Uh, Nerd, looks like the rest of your cartoony business.” Au contraire my dears! It’s a slight distinction, I’ll acknowledge it, BUT what I usually lay out for the characters involves wedging the entire face/body onto the nail; this time I gave myself license to let that go and shoot for partials (it’s okay to not have the full head, weirdo!) and fuller coverage. And since I knew I wasn’t trying to let much polish peek through, the base on this was clean ol’ Kleancolor White (which got a little pinkish after my shower what with the hair dye runoff, but whatever, it was still bright enough to make the colors pop). Then it was just the regular drill: whip out the craft acrylic paints and a couple of small brushes to add Tina, Gene, Louise and Mort (gotta love that hairpiece!) from FOX’s Bob’s Burgers cartoon onto each nail.
If you’re already a fan of the show, be sure to check out Behind Bob’s Burgers, the official blog of the writers. If you have no idea what this cartoon is even about, here ya go!

I know I know it’s been forever since I wrote a comment. I got caught up in following blogs and then if I missed a day of looking at the posts, I was 1000s behind. So I unfollowed a bunch and went from 722 to 520 and it’s a work in progress. I want to be able to read the blogs I like and comment. So ramble over and I love these!
