As part of the press packet for season 4 of AMC’s Breaking Bad they sent out this great Walter White stencil logo that I seriously love:

So I wanted to pay a little homage and flip it around.  For the background I used the title splash screen as reference (with the smoky dark weirdness) and first put down a black base (Kleancolor Black) and then sponged in green and goldish hilights using Sinful Colors San Francisco and This Is It.  Which turned out way cooler than I thought it would — somehow it created this faux holo effect where the two colors overlapped.

Then I tried putting Walter on my middle finger (because which other nail would be appropriate) using acrylic paint; because I’d gone for a dark background I ended up using the stencil in reverse so that the yellow becomes their bluish part and the black fills in the yellow of his face.  Not super recognizable but it was fun trying to work it out!
