What was the gas station that had red, orange and blue for their logo in the 80s?  I can’t remember, but either way, it wasn’t Chevron but we’re doin’ chevron layout anyway.  The base is Revlon Alluring Amber, and I’m kinda good with it as oranges go: it’s creamy, based up really nicely in 2 coats, and behaves like it would be great for stamping and accent work, which is nice.  Then I used the Art Club stripers in Blue and Red to add in the chevrons.

    Ok I don’t even want to admit to how much time I just wasted going through this site, but I *think* I was thinking of Total… which sort of jives since they started in France and would have a bigger presence over there/didn’t seem to get really big stateside til (what looks like) the nineties/noughties:
