imobsessedwithnails is participating in the new 31 day challenge and posted #21 yesterday with the mani inspired by hair.  Which is when I realized and mentioned we’re sort of hair twinsies: dark brown hair with a chunk of color in Manic Panic (hers is Atomic Turquoise, mine is Enchanted Forest, so pretty close as colors go).  I liked her french mani layout and she suggested we both try it out so here goes!  I did the base in Rimmel French Manicure Pro in French Rose (seemed like a no-brainer color choice on this one) and then did the tip coloring in reverse: instead of using the brown as the base I wanted to hilight the green (we can’t be TOO matchy-matchy, that’d just be weird!).  I blocked off the nail tip with a circular sticker then started sponging in the greens (because dontcha know, my hair is fading like crazy) using love & beauty green somethin’ or other (kills me that they/i didn’t label these bottles) and Sinful Colors Innocent.  Finished it off with a couple of swooshes of Art Club Mochalotta sort of like hair wisps and voila, hair tips!  Ok that kinda sounds gross.
