Cute and simple, used nubar Hieroglyphys Purple for the base (POW!) and then used an Art Club Green brush to add a couple of flower stems. With Kleancolor White and a thin brush i added little dandelion feathery business.
The search box below will help if you're looking for a specific polish, otherwise you can use the links further down the sidebar to browse by polish color, theme, brand, whatever!
Have an Idea? I looooove getting ideas from people for what to do for the more intricate nail designs — use the email link up above to shoot me a note and I'll add your idea to the list! (because yes, there's a list, but it's AWESOME.)
Love these nails, they’re amazing!
Thanks for the comment on my blog

Thanks Stephanie!
I just found your site and I love it! Your designs are simple enough that most people can do them (unlike some other places).
…But I really, really love this.
I LOVE this design and I LOVE that purple!! I love everything about this mani! You did a spectacular job!! =)
Have you heard of Robin Moses? Because these look a lot like her dandelion nails, except hers are purple but they are VERY similar. I think it is okay if you try some of here designs, but you should credit her because she even says all the time that her designs are copyrighted and it would be nice if you said “inspired by Robin Moses”.
Thanks Anon — I’ve heard of her, but I haven’t seen her dandelion nails — I think the dandelion layout/technique might actually be a fairly common design…? A Google image search for “dandelion nails” turns out a ton of results, all of which (including mine) look pretty much the same. I’m not sure I ever thought to do research to try to find out who did it first, and none of the search returns I checked cited her as the originator of the idea…

Which isn’t meant to be flip or disregard your concern at all (there are certainly some internet images, like the Hungry Hungry Hippos design, where I 100% cribbed off of someone else’s artwork but don’t know who designed it/couldn’t credit fully, though certainly would if provided the info) but I honestly haven’t seen Robin’s version of dandelions.
