Because sometimes you just need to do a gradient! The base is 2 coats of e.l.f. Purple Dream (boy is it!) which I then sponged e.l.f. Mango Madness onto; once that dried, I went in with e.l.f. Blush for a 3rd tier in the gradient and used it to stamp some leafy branches from image plate SH18 over the whole nail so that the Blush anchored everything and the orange and purple played behind it. The stamp isn’t the cleanest thing ever — it was part of that cheapo bundle I got on Amazon, and the first sign of cheap is on the plastic protective cover: it doesn’t want to peel off, and when you do start getting it to lift off in chunks it leaves behind this really awful tacky adhesive business. I cleaned the plate vigorously but I’m not convinced I got it all, especially whatever settled into the image itself… thinking about peeling and soaking all of them in some hot sudsy water for awhile, hopefully that helps a little! How do you clean and maintain your image plates?

very pretty
Looks like a sunset reflecting off water :

I love these colors, and I am a sucker for goldish bling…total sucker. They may have been cheap plates, but your mani is awesome
Thanks ladies! (and Ashley, don’t let me make you self conscious, shine on sugar!) I would’ve never thought of water but I can kinda see it, that’s cool!
