Nargis asked awhile ago for some french tip nails with a Hello Kitty bow on the side — voila! I was a little heavy-handed with the red paint, but it’s a bow and it’s the right shape at least. I’m (obviously) underexposed to Hello Kitty in my life… The base on this is three coats of butter LONDON Pink Ribbon; normal nails could probably pull this sheer polish off in two coats, but my nails are perpetually stained from all the polishin’ so I went for an extra just to be sure. Used some acrylic white to paint in the tips, add the bows, then went back and touched up the white (overworked! overworked!) and there you have it(-ish…).

For the nail polish stains, you should rubbing lemon wedges on your finger nails to clear up the stains a bit.

I’ve not heard lemon before! I wonder if lime would work too? I usually do the whitening toothpaste trick but meh, been sick and lazy, so there you have it.
