Went for the quick and dirty fashion gradient using glitters and multiple layers of application instead of the sponge technique.  The base is Zoya Laney and then I used Sinful Colors Call You Later for the glitter gradient, with a touch of Sinful Colors Nail Junkie at the tip.

have a question.. how in the world do you get the glitter to be gradient? is it loose glitter or polish?

    thanks…

Thanks Aarya! The glitter gradients are actually a lot easier — you don’t need any special tools or sponging, you can just use the applicator brush. Since the polishes usually have a clear or jelly base, it takes a few layers for them to be completely opaque. Use that to your advantage and just apply the glitter in stages: one layer that goes about half way up the nail, a second that’s a bit lower than that, and a third that’s just near the tip. For this one I also went in with a second gradient and put that right at the tips for a little extra oomph, but you can play with it and see what works best for your polish.
