Finding the softer side of metal (no invisible oranges!), this takes the palme d’or and gets a little playful; put down a two coat base of Color Club On the Wild Side (which looked positively gunmetal blue/grey in the bottle under regular lighting but went on decidedly more silver) then used SHANY stamp SH17 to add gold palm stamps using Nicole by OPI Not a Gold Bigger.  Simple but still eye-catching, I’d probably avoid the layering of the stamp elements on the index finger if I were duplicating this but otherwise, easy peasy!

Anybody else feeling crazy dry lately?  I almost hate posting pics of such weathered hands but it’s so impossible right now — was biking around running errands today and could just feel my skin splitting up, cold and pinched, all the moisturizing seems like it’s barely cutting it… (is this weather better or worse than the balls-hotness of summer where everything on you sweats?  I can’t even tell anymore.)

Oh yeah, and about to launch into making chili and a whole buncha other crap this weekend (check out this awesome fridge, and that doesn’t even include all the produce on the counter) — hoping to keep the nails going over the weekend but not sure how much I’ll actually get done between all the food prep sooooooo fingers crossed and all that.  Hope everybody’s got a fun weekend on deck!
