Why is it that anytime I do a sparkle/glitter tip it feels like a holiday nail? At least these aren’t red and gold/silver!  Started with a two coat base of OPI Meet Me On The Star Ferry, this subtle sparkle finish that mixes pink, plum and copper, then added tips (and a full cover on my broken-nail-too-much-fixer-glue pinky) in Barry M Silver Cascade.  Finally, a Barry M I like!  Mostly silver glitters but a few blue, green and reds thrown in there (oh hay, maybe that’s the holiday part!), this (ironically, given my recent gripes on brand) went on beautifully in a single swipe — if only the others did!

The photos are doing some really unfortunate business with reflection that makes the polish look thin; it’s not, I promise, I just didn’t realize til I uploaded the pics and the mani was long gone that I’d picked up some bouncing light in these that may not put the polish in the best, um, light.
