For as simple as this was to execute I really like the final product — it reminds me of standing on a train platform at night and watching the cars whoosh past you. I started with a 2 coat base of MAC Biker Blue, a really lovely black base polish with blue and purple pearl. Once that dried completely I taped off kiltered shapes on each nail and filled them with a healthy coat of HITS Artemis from the No Olimpo collection over at llarowe. THEN I had to (had to!) add a couple of complimentary swooshes of the same on one side of each nail and capped it off by using the Biker Blue to segment the original holo slice I taped off. Thanks ladies, I love both these colors too! The MAC Biker Blue is really crazy; with the black base it actually reads mostly-black if you look at it from the right angle/under a certain light (you can sort of see it in the index finger tip on the first and third photos)
