The base on this puppy is a single coat of Kleancolor White followed by a single coat of Sinful Colors Innocent — love me some limey greens! Once that dried I started in with the hearts, which became it’s own noodle scratcher that I had to sketch out on paper first to figure out the application order just right. Turns out filling the area first was the way to go, so I used a mix of Kleancolor Pearl Pink, Sinful Colors Let Me Go and Sour Grapes plus Art Club stripers in Creme de Razzberry and Pink Lady. When that dried up well enough I came back in with some love & beauty Navy Blue and the smallest brush I have (if you don’t already have the MASH nail art brush set, get it!) to get the outlines in. The love & beauty was probably a mistake in hindsight; turns out it’s a matte which tends to dry faster/have a clumpier consistency to it so the lines aren’t as nice as Id like, but whatever.
