I got a pack in the other day with the new OPI colors by Nicki Minaj and wanted to throw the three bright colors together to see how they played.  They’re definitely fun — Pink Friday, Did It On ‘Em (green) and Fly — but I’m not sure I haven’t seen these colors before…  still, very cute.  While those were tacky on the nail I used the gold sparkle Miji pen to try to get some borders on the color blocks.

Which was kinda dumb.  I’ve been looking at the glitter pens for awhile thinking “there’s no way those tips are squeezing all that glitter through” — hey wouldn’t ya know, kinda right!  Had to keep stopping during application (when the polish coming out was really just a glossy gold snot consistency) to re-cap the pen and try to clear the tube… it’s just not a bright idea for glitter.  Does add a bit more sparkly fun though, slop as it is!
