Last year I got the nubar Polished Chic Collection that included nubar Beguiling Carmine, described as a brick red but I think it’s way more terracotta red — either way, you can’t go wrong with nubar and this went on without issue. When it dried I thought to stamp some hearts on the nails using a slightly lighter color but that totally bombed; the color wasn’t thick enough and it just got lost, so I used the Nail Star pens to try to flesh out the idea more. Got a little wonky — didn’t shake some of the polishes as well as I should have so had some runny mixture issues, and frankly my skillset is a bit rusty with this stuff after taking a timeout — but whatever, cute li’l hearts awwww….
Bombed with the stamp or not, this looks good.
so cute! very valentine’s day-ie (did that make sense?) lol nice mani!
Cute mani…great colors!

Holy Shamoly these are waay too cute!
Oh I love this, it looks cute! I quite like they’re not perfect in outline, it adds to the romantic dreamy effect! (shut up Esther!!) I like that you’ve used similar colours too, might try this in purple and put a linkback to this if you don’t mind? xx
I nominate you for the Kreativ Blog Award! All the info is on my blog!
I love your blog. Such a nice layout. I think these hearts and red nail design is great for Valentine’s!
Found you via Google Search. I was searching for Miami Florida pictures lol. I bookmarked your blog.
Hahaha thanks ladies! And yesssss, it’s way Valentine’s themed, figured since I snoozed through Christmas it wouldn’t hurt to ramp up some of the coming fun.
And absolutely ms. fab, you do it!
Thx Maria, you’re the sweetest.
Tamyr, sorry to not have any Miami pics (I used to live there and may have mentioned that at some point, but I’m guessing it’s the South Beach collection of nail polishes that nabbed ya) — glad you got here though!
