Yep, this happened.  And yep, I’ve been sitting on this one awhile; honestly, there are a ton of ideas that I’ve either been sitting on or will continue to do so… I don’t want to tackle the really fun stuff that I’ve been looking forward to trying until I know I’m getting to a point where I’m good enough to tackle it, you know?  So this one tumbled around in my head for months, and I really like how it turned out!  Things got a little wonky on the peppermint (dang you swirls!!!) but otherwise I feel good about how it looks.

I started with a coat of Kleancolor White and then went in with acrylic paint for… everything.  There was no way I was doing this one with nail polish.  Once I had all the colors down I put on a clear coat, waited for that to dry, then used Wet n Wild Ebony Hates Chris to add some detail and lines, finishing it off by adding the background in China Glaze Shower Together.

…and yep, theme song has been stuck in my head for hours since starting this mani.  Thanks nyan cat!
