OPI’s limited edition Halloween 2011 Zom-body To Love polish was something I have been dying to check out (because really, how fun is glow in the dark?!).  The formula is the pits though: what you see here is five — nope, didn’t forget how to count, it was FIVE — coats and it’s still not a really even cover.  It does dry fast so at least you don’t have to wait forever between coats, so it’s got that going for it, which is nice… though probably best used in a couple of coats over another color.

But the big question was “will it REALLY glow in the dark?”  Oh — oh yeah, it glows!  (I didn’t use a tripod or pre-focus these so they’re a little blurry but you get the idea, right?  GLOWS!!!!)

I know! If I had been thinking clearly I would’ve put down a bed of white first but I was so convinced I could make it opaque with like 3 layers. Nope. But it GLOWS so I’m really not mad at it.

  3. I love your glow in the dark shots!! They came out great!! XOXO

Kelly — the glow is sort of like the glow in the dark stickers you had as a kid: if you held them up to a light source and then flip the light off they are full on GLOW for awhile, but then it fades to a sort of general “heyyyyy my nails are really showing up in the dark” sort of thing.

My friend is super excited to wear this in the club cuz you know blacklights are gonna bounce off of this like crazy. I’m excited to use this one next month with all the Halloween stuff in town!

  9. Wow, love it. Just like when i was a kid : )

Those are fun, but you’re right it would have totally showed up better, with less polish waste, with a white coat underlay. But they still are fun! Thanks for the review. =)

    Hi
Where I get that glow nail polish?
Can you deliver to Kuwait ?
    Regards

I don’t distribute (except for the occasional giveaway) but check eBay, I’ve seen a ton of the glow-in-the-dark polishes up there, and there are plenty that say they ship anywhere!

  13. Peyton says:

What colors of the nail polish do they have, so what colors and how many color total. I wanna get them all!!!! :)

    • admin says:

Oh gosh, ALL of em?! I wouldn’t even know where to get that number at this point! If you go to the OPI site they have a little interactive tool that lets you “try on” colors, but there are only like 200 there… there are some searches that are saying over 600, but I have no way of confirming that/it seems like there would be more if you include all of the discontinued and special colors. Can we just go with “a bajillion?”
