Seriously love this color, but you’ve got to be diligent about the topcoat with Orly Halley’s Comet – I had 2 coats on and everything looked lovely, then I got sucked into a client project and didn’t surface again for a couple of hours… only to realize that without the topcoat the paint at the tips had all started to flake away and some of the sparkle rubbed off the top of the nail.  Went back and added another coat, then used China Glaze Re-Fresh Mint to stamp some somewhat-subtle stars from BM-220 to the tips (one part trying to dress it up a little, one part motivated to put something over the uneven color tone of the tips).

    wow, i love haley’s comet! i really need to get this color. this is a perfect fall/winter shade. refresh-mint looks great on top, jeez, hope i can finally get stamping down, im horrible lol
