And now in the knockoff department… I realized after application that China Glaze Peace on Earth is really just a poor man’s Chanel Peridot, and that’s a good thing.

After getting the second coat on I went to Walgreens and, as is customary every time I get sucked into the drugstore, I first cruised through the cosmetics section to check the nail polish supply (obviously I have a problem, one that has led to a handful of duplicate purchases that will undoubtedly go toward some giveaways on the site at a later date). ┬áThat’s when I finally found it: Milani Gems, which I’ve heard a ton about but never saw in the store and strikes me as a decent Deborah Lippmann Happy Birthday knockoff.

So basically what we have here is a $45 polish job knockoff for $9.

Love this colour! Still prefer Chanel’s though for the added glitter :) Love your site!

TRUE fact, Chanel all the way… but this one will have to do in a pinch when that bottle runs dry. :)

And THANK YOU, it’s always good to know that my indulgence in crazy is fun for other people too!
