Yay fun with taping AND sponging!  Started with a 2 coat base of Orly Butterflies, a lovely shade of pink but I could still see my fingertip through my nail after two coats and, not wanting to lay another coat down (enough with the 3 coaters lately!) I decided to tape off some bits, mostly the tips, and go in with the sponge.  I used the Kleancolor metallics in Metallic Green, Metallic Fuschia, and Metallic Sapphire to sponge in the colors in a rainbow spectrum from one side of the nail to the other and like the effect — it’s sort of like foil strips, except, you know, takes longer…
