I know I haven’t done any of the crazy acrylic stuff lately — just bear with me dolls; I wanna, but the hours aren’t really there right now while I work on clearing up a whole buncha stuff that got messy this year (tail end, WOOT!). So for now I’m doing the easier (read: doesn’t take me 5 hours) stuff, which is cool, cuz it means it’s all junk you can easily execute too without pulling your hair out or losing half your weekend!
This is set on a base of China Glaze Purr-Fect Plum — CG named it right, this was a two-coat dream of fruity purple amazingness and I’m super glad to have it in the collection. With the second coat partially set, I used some of the little floral stickers in my drawer (I think these were from a Hong Kong kit I ordered off of eBay last year, but they’re pretty generic and I’m guessing your local drugstore probably has something similar in the cosmetic section) to add random floral goodies on each; they broke apart a ton while peeling them off of the sheet with tweezers, and I didn’t want to muck up the not-perfectly-dry polish by trying to squish ‘em around so a couple are a little wonky… but what garden was ever perfect, right? Finished it off with a coat of Seche Vite and, while still wet, dropped some berry colored rhinestones on top for a touch of bling (snagged a bit later in the day when I pulled my hair back for a bike ride, but sometimes you’ve gotta suffer for beauty, you know?).
