So here’s the thing to know about these two glitters: nubar Gold Glitter and China Glaze It’s Alive both dry so dang fast that you can’t well blend them wet on the finger.  Whatever!  When you find a fudge, cover it up!  So I added a little leapin’ leprechaun (because apparently that’s all they ever do, leap and jump and cackle) and a pot o’ gold using acrylic.  Not my best work (I used the DIY nail transfer technique to get these on my left hand since the right is working for another site right now — please note how I have totally forgotten how to model/hold that hand at this point), but definitely good enough to hang out at the Irish block party this afternoon — hellooooooooo beautiful sun, “Come On Eileen” at stupid volumes and, well, a lot of stupid drunk boys too.  Because yes, when living in the Irish Channel, St. Patrick’s is a week more than a single holiday… and wholly embraced by the bars and residents alike.
