I really like the high contrast of these two with China Glaze Lemon Fizz, a nice pastel and pretty yellow, for the base and American Apparel’s super bright Poppy for the leopard spots. ¬†Also used some tape before putting the spots on to leave a sliver of the Lemon Fizz free to do its own thing.

Hahaha it could be a sampled leopard print, who knows?! The leopard prints are actually really easy, you just need to start with the big colored dots and then go back in to draw partial halos/parentheses around them. And thanks ladies!

  6. I’m in love with this manicure!

I commented on this yesterday. Anyway…I really like the pop of red against the pastel yellow. I can’t do a good leopard print to save my life!

Weird, the system must’ve eaten it — the site got hacked for a hot minute yesterday, super frustrating… I think the trick to the leopard may just be using different sized dots and spacing them right. I’m still tinkering with it (seriously, check out some of the ones I’ve done, there’s some bad stuff in there) but that’s part of the fun, right? You can do it Meg!
