Just a little bit of fun with some retro color combos and color blocking, I started with a 2 coat base of OPI Green-wich Village, then followed it with Kleancolor White, Orly Cotton Candy and Orly Lola to paint in the design in rounds. It’s not perfect but I dig it!
* a quick note about the ads on the site too…
I know a lot of folks have liked the site because it’s not too busy/running a ton of ads, and I’m trying to keep a fairly clean vibe going on in here with just a ton of pics of nails. This month Nail Nerd joined the BlogHer network and so you’ll now see advertising from them on the site, which means I’ll probably end up dropping some of the other stuff. And with the support from the network (and all of y’all of course!) this relationship will help build the Nail Nerd collection, and that can’t be a bad thing, right? I mean, until I find the Nail Fairy and form a lifelong bond wherein she drops free nail polish in my basket every morning for an endless supply of pretty.

This is super retro! Love it!
