Ok I was wrong about getting caught up on everything last weekend. :) Ended up taking a mini-vacation (NEEDED!!!) and am just now getting back online and into the swing of things, so thanks for bearing with me. This mani sort of reflects that; easy, sparkly, the layers of crashing water…. with a hint of Mardi Gras on the tips, because that’s been all up in my brain lately. Came back to a clean and empty home this afternoon, so everything feels like it’s starting to move in good directions again!
I started with a two coat base of China Glaze Watermelon Rind — love the color, but on closer inspection I realized I probably should have gone for three coats instead… Used some pearly paints to add dots near the tip in purple, green and gold, then covered it all up in Color Club Covered In Diamonds (see: shoulda used three coats).
