Yep, I’m on a stripe rip. There’s a reason though! I started by making a fun 3-tone gradient with decidedly sunrise-ish colors: China Glaze Adventure Red-Y, China Glaze Breakin’, and China Glaze Cowardly Lyin’. And lo, it was pretty…
BUT there was a little nick on my middle finger, right smack dab in the wash of the gradient mixture, which would have made it near impossible to fix without just redoing the whole thing. I don’t redo, it makes me nuts to start over. So instead of focusing on that little booboo, I went and covered it all up in vertical stripes of purple acrylic. The glaring screwup got washed out, and there’s a little more depth to the mani!
awesome… even without the stripes ;-D
I love the gradient, but the stripes on top is super cool! Perfect way to hide a mistake. But I just love the color of the stripes with that in the background- so neat!
I Love this! color on top coordinates very nicely….great mani save!
Pretty!
I like it! These colors all look so great together, and the gradient is beautiful! ^.^
Purple is such a pretty contrast to the warmth of your gradient!
I love this stripe mani, the colors come so nicely together, well done!
