Two words: Patrick McGoohan. Seriously. If I could timewarp back to the late 60s, my number one crush would have certainly been this unnamed British agent from the short-run series The Prisoner. If you can get it/watch it (I don’t know if this is on Netflix or not), do. I’ve currently got my box set on loan so can’t indulge the full series right now, but the trailer is pretty great:

And yes, they’re remaking it. I’m not excited, there can be no other McGoohan.

So I started with a two-coat base of Cherimoya Heavy Metal — kicking myself for not getting a good basecoat first to sort out some ridges on my nails, but I hadn’t anticipated just how shiny the surface would really be (some metallics will sort of eat up nail flaws, this ain’t one of ‘em). then I used acrylic to add in the rover on the pinky, the rover chasing him on the ring, an attempt at a shadowed line interpretation of his face on the middle and then bike logo with number 6 on the index (“I am not a number, I am a free man!”).

I loved the show and I love this mani!

Not another remake? The one with Ian McKillen & Jim Caveazel (sorry for any misspelling) only lasted 1 season. Agree – only 1 Secret Agent Man!

This is how looped-out I am — totally didn’t even realize they’d released it already. Jim’s a hot mofo, but, much like Highlander, there can be only one!
