Had a little accident and we’re back to nubbins again — I forget how weird it feels having short nails.  Started with a two coat base of Cherimoya Vernis Classique’s Lost At Sea; decent formula and coverage with a nice sea-tastic color, but it did seem like it took a little longer to dry than like a nubar or OPI.  Once that set I just doodled in some fine lines with a handful of different pastels and black acrylic paint, then sealed it down with SV.  I like the contrast the black provides, the rest feels like it all got faded out on the ocean or something.  It’s also kind of fun that the manicure looks like it’s just triangles when you look at it from the side.
