Another one from the nail foil haul, I used this Ocean Mist foil pattern which was this crazy metallic base with what looked like an oil spill finish, tons of sheen and rainbows happening. Know what happens when you put a coat of SV over that? Yeah, that oily shiny awesome top layer just sort of… bubbled and bled and gave up on itself, leaving this withered foil treatment in its wake. I don’t hate it, in fact I think it’s kind of pretty in its own right, but next time I’ve got to use a different topcoat… But of course I couldn’t leave that alone so went in with some Kleancolor Black and stamped the dots from Konad m60 over it.

Looks like scrumpled aluminum foil
I think this is a great save of a mani gone wrong!
It totally does, good call! Totally aluminum foil with a little bit of fish grease left in it or something. Whatever, it was a dollar
It still looks nice!!
I think it looks great! I’m glad you were able to save it kinda, it definitely looks like aluminum foil!
It still looks great, the dots deff make it better.
I love that base polish! So cool
Great way to save the mani with the stamping! It hides the mistakes!
I love this! So cute and fun and shiny
I have a bunch of these foils and I find that the most basic topcoat works best…they are so sensitive!
Great mani!!
To avoid this you can use fimo polish, it does not ruin the foils ^^
This is hot!
